This is because in order to survive the stiff competition, they must make sure that their customers will come back and will not find better services elsewhere. Some of the improvements are in the form of new services, latest equipment, well designed lay outs and surveillance and security enhancements.
For example, when it comes to security and surveillance, car wash services before only had them for their night services. Today, managers and operators have fitted their stations with the latest surveillance and security equipment that are also for their day time operations. They realized that the security equipments, like cameras, in the long run generate more dividends. Although the initial investment for such equipment may be a little bit costly, they are good investments. You may be wondering how? Well, your customers will surely feel safe if your establishment have high resolution cameras. When they feel safe, they know that their vehicles are also well protected. When they trust your facility than your competitors, they of course will come back to your place than to a place they know are unprotected. Now the whole family can enjoy the time they spent on car wash.
In the long run, car wash operators agree that these investments are what kept them in the business. Once a customer discovered a car wash he can trust and enjoy hanging out at, he will definitely come back and more frequently than the usual.
